Assistive Technology (AT) is any device or system that allows you to perform tasks you couldn’t otherwise do. Assistive Technology can increase the ease and safety for you to perform tasks.
We have a team of skilled volunteers, therapists and engineers. They work with you to provide solutions that meet your needs.
We may adapt a readily available product to make it more suitable for you. Or the AT could be a customised solution designed and built just for you.
Customised Assistive Technology is built or adapted for you to meet your specific needs. These are items you cannot buy off the shelf. Customised Assistive Technology can help when nothing available is suitable for you.
TAD Australia welcomes all equipment requests. We will work with you to develop a solution as long as it is safe to do so. We can also help you with advice about Assistive Technology that is available from other suppliers.

Review
Your goals and challenges are reviewed by our therapist and volunteer who will determine if it’s a project we can help you with.
Design & quoting
A volunteer or staff member with the right skills will be assigned and will visit with the therapist if needed. After working out a solution with you and materials required we will provide you with a quote.
Quote accepted
A quote will be provided to you. This can be used to secure funding from the NDIS or other funding schemes. If you do not have access to funding, we will issue a quote that takes your personal circumstances into account.
Test, deliver & achieve your goal!
Your assistive technology will be built and brought to you for testing. Sometimes a prototype will be made for testing before the final product is delivered. Then you can achieve your
